Judith Gold, Sc.D
Judith Gold, founder of Gold Standard Research Consulting, is an Epidemiologist/Data Scientist, and an Electrical Engineer. She received her doctorate in Epidemiology from the Work Environment Department at the University of Massachusetts. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and worked for 10 years in the computer industry as a software developer.
As an epidemiologist, she has worked closely with physicians including those with specialties in occupational medicine, sports medicine, radiology, psychiatry, and pulmonology. She has also collaborated on research projects with physical therapists and occupational therapists. She has been the recipient of government and industry-funded research grants, and has served as a consultant for WHO and OSHA.
With international experience, she has presented training sessions in India and Brazil. She worked for several years in Sweden. Dr. Gold is a well-published researcher with articles in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Ergonomics, Applied Ergonomics, and International Archives of Occupational and Environmental Health, among other journals. She has also presented at many conferences.
